Increase of Antioxidants

The Doi Chang Tea Company has experimented using Thai herbs in the natural compost in its tea cultivation for the past four years.  As a result of a laboratory analysis, it has been found that the number of antioxidants in 100 grammes of fresh Doi Chang tea leaves which have been cultivated with Thai herbs compost, has increased from 138,000 umoltrolox/100 grammes in 2009 to 391,631 umoltrolox/100 grammes in 2013    The  Thai herbs compost has also reduced the number of pests.  A further experiment with the same type of leaves in a processed state of dry matter will be carried out.
